Sarah Fannon, MA, LMHC, earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Northeastern University. She went on to earn a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University after moving to New York with her husband.
Sarah has extensive clinical experience working with tweens, teens, adults and couples. She utilizes evidence-based strategies, including CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness techniques to help clients move toward their identified goals while building confidence and supporting empowerment. Areas of expertise include support for A-D/HD, anxiety, depression, and chronic illness. After giving birth to her first child, Sarah sought additional training and is working towards her certification in Perinatal Mental Health Counseling (PMH-C). She is passionate about supporting mothers far beyond childbirth and/or adoption, and understands that motherhood is not a one-size-fits-all venture. Sarah combines her extensive training and compassionate, supportive nature to assist mothers in working through the life transitions they are experiencing. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and son, hiking, reading, and family trips to Muscoot Farm. She is also passionate about staying fit at her women's gym. |
