Patricia Villani, LMHC, earned her undergraduate degree at Saint Thomas Aquinas College and went on to earn a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University.
Patricia has extensive experience working with children, teens and adults with various challenges including A-D/HD, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, social stress, and eating disorders. In therapy, Patricia enlists evidence-based techniques to help clients make meaningful shifts toward their goals. Her personalized, non-judgmental approach sets clients at ease and creates space for personal growth and progress. Patricia works to help clients feel empowered and build confidence through her collaborative, strength-based approach. Patricia has a specific area of expertise supporting individuals with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and executive functioning vulnerabilities. Through a combination of supportive interpersonal therapy and explicit, personalized skills training, Patricia helps clients improve organization, communication, self-advocacy, and time management while reducing stress and worry. Patricia also has experience helping couples work toward mutually identified goals while enhancing communication skills.
